Atlanta Industrial is Burning Hot!

The industrial market in Atlanta is as hot as anyone can ever remember, particularly in the large distribution arena. Tenants in the Atlanta MSA have leased in excess of 13 million square feet of industrial space as of the end of June, with the expectation that this absorption will continue through the end of 2017. Major new tenants include Amazon, Duracell, and Mars, along with several other major retailers. Couple this with low vacancy rates and another 10 million square feet of industrial coming online and it is obvious that Atlanta is indeed red hot.
